About Elaine  I'm a counselling psychologist who has been in private practice for more than twenty five years. Actually not that far from thirty, but it's scary to say that out loud. I use this site to give information on what work I like doing and the topics I'm interested in in Psychology.

I have had exposure to such interesting things in my career and been privileged to work with people whom I'm glad to have known. People who have allowed me into their worlds and allowed me to know how their worlds have formed them.
